Here is a list of the people I have/will be most likely to refer to in my blogs and what roll they play in my life.
- SMFH (aka Must Over Analyzes EVERYTHING) - [Friend - Female] One of my closest friends and the one that I confide in the most. She is one of the most loving and loyal people you will meet. She is a strong independent woman but she has yet to realize that she is worthy of getting everything she wants in life. I know without a doubt, if I ever needed her, she would be there no questions asked...but undoubtedly we would spend hours analyzing everything that happened at a later date. We can spend hours on the phone...to the point that my ear physically hurts! I love her to death and she is the one person that TOTALLY gets my sense of humor. You gotta love that in a friend!
- Chatty Cathy - [Friend - Female] - I sometimes wonder "who pulled her string?" LOL. Another close friend and co-worker, She has an awesome personality and sense of humor, but conversations with her can follow a zig-zag pattern at times. She is another person, like me, that spends a lot of time in her head and we get into some really good conversations. She is beautiful intelligent and classy, but get sideways with her and she will leave you in a whirlwind of expletives that will make your hair curl.
- Bitchy (aka Junie) - [Friend - Male] - He is my closest male friend and he is the one that most would refer to as my "boyfriend"...but we consider ourselves 'friends w/ benefits and have for the past 5 years. We have a unique relationship but it works for us. He is the bitchiest guy I know and probably even worse then some women, but I love him to death. He can be amazingly warm-hearted and He is an great cuddler. He is one of the only men in my life that I feel completely safe being myself with. I think he is awesome, and he likes my cooking :)
- Tucker - [Dog - he has more white on his face then Deke] - My Baby! I got Tucker February 2007 during one of our worse ice storms in history. He had been rescued by the Austin Sheltie Rescue Group from a puppy mill in Missouri that the State had shut down due to the animal's appalling living condition. When I brought him home he was terrified of everything and spent most of his time in my closet (this went on for months). He's time at the mill had broken him, but when I looked in his eyes I knew there was a wonderful creature in there and all I had to do was give him love and time. I had no idea what he had been through while at the mill, so I was clueless as to how to help him. After doing lots of research on puppy mills and finding out the horrific conditions he came from I set out to form a plan to rehabilitate him. After about 2 years he started to really show signs of improvement and today he is a healthy, happy and loving puppy.
- Marley - (Boyfriend of SMFH) - He is nick-named after the dog from the movie Marley and Me. In the beginning of their friendship/relationship he ran through SMFH's life reeking havoc and leaving her to figure out the mess he left in his wake...but apparently he can also be very sweet and affectionate at times. We spend hours talking about him and analyzing his every move. It's hard for a guy to remain a "prince" under all that scrutiny and Marley certainly seems more like a frog at times. That being said, SMFH loves him and therefore I try and support her. BUT, she doesn't pay me for all the hours of counseling, so I don't spend a lot of time sugar coating my opinions and I have a tendency to ask the hard questions (when they need to be asked). The bottom line is I think she deserves something better. She's one of my best-friends, what do you expect?
